Choose one of the following creative projects. When you arrive we’ll provide a quick demonstration of each option and then you’ll dive in alongside friends. We’ll be on hand to answer questions and support as you enjoy the studio exclusively to yourselves.
OPTION 1: WATERCOLOR PAINTING EXPERIENCE: Relax into a calming, carefree creative experience inspired by our coastal community. Choose eight in-studio made clay-based watercolor pods. Then, paint a trio of Coastal illustrations (made exclusively for COMMON PROJECT by local artist Emily Henderson), or select a curation of California Wildflower designs. all printed on quality watercolor paper. Celebrate our seaside culture and take home authentic artwork worthy to display on your walls.
OPTION 2: BLOCK PRINTING EXPERIENCE: For those looking for a more challenging creative project, block print a set of notecards or canvas tote bag. Receive a linoleum block to design and hand carve your own stamp using our studio carving tools. Then, using studio ink, a brayer/roller and others tools, print your design. Take home your newly created stamp and tote or set of cards.
